The effect is dynamic and it creates a richer image of colour vs. ![]() HDR is sort of like Bloom, except it modifies color saturation as well as brightness. Download the level (if you have Steam + HL2) and turn on commentary by the developers. Half Life 2 - Lost Coast gives an excellent example of HDR, how it is done and done right. ![]()
